You will work closely with the GM Operations Victoria to assist in the management, leadership and compliance of the residences and will assist in covering absences of a residential manager and during commissioning phases. This position is part of the For-Purpose management team. Based at Head Office in Cheltenham with travel to Victorian sites as required. Your responsibilities will include: - Governance and compliance oversight for all service and care delivery in the areas of operations, leadership, business development and stakeholder engagement in the Residential Care Home.
- Management and integration of all functions and services and to guide and manage staff to deliver a leading aged care service that enhances the customer experience and the For Purpose brand.
- Leading operations to drive a high performing team in care and service.
- Being the primary face and point of contact of the Residence in business development, resident and family affairs, employee wellbeing and supporting supplier and contractor engagement.
- Delivering on the business and Residence objectives, these being on or above budget performance and compliance to the Quality and Safety Standards and all regulation and legislation governing aged care operations.
- Being a role model of service excellence and provide a reliable and informed conduit of information to recipients living and working in the Residence.
- Being a point of escalation for employee, resident and family related matters.
If you have the following attributes then apply now: AHPRA Registration (RN) is preferred Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar senior role for medium to large homes and proven management experience in aged care managing a diverse team of people. Demonstrated history of building, managing and leading stable, well-functioning homes Degree in a health or business related field Strong business acumen and understanding of budgets, financial and KPI reporting Experience in commissioning aged care facilities or Quality Auditing is desirable
