Quality Coordinator
Singleton Community Aged Care

This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of Signature Care into the future during a period of significant change in the aged care sector.


We are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence.   

The role is part-time, three days per week, 39 hours per fortnight.

 

You must be able to demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector to be able to assist our homes with compliance and policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • AHPRA registration (RN) Mandatory
  • Ideally, at least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a quality role
  • Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
  • Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
  • Must be able to easily learn new systems and technologies
  • Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
  • Be able to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
